Grade Selection Guide

Selecting the correct polycarbonate grade is critical to long-term performance. Our technical team assists buyers in matching the right grade, thickness, and colour to their specific environmental conditions, load requirements, and fire safety regulations.

General Purpose Clear

Standard solid PC sheet for indoor and short-term outdoor applications. Offers maximum optical clarity (up to 90% light transmission) and exceptional impact resistance. Used in machine guards, display cases, interior partitions, and greenhouse panels where UV exposure is limited.

Double-Sided UV Protected

A co-extruded UV-blocking layer on both surfaces protects the PC core from solar degradation, yellowing, and loss of mechanical properties over a 10-year outdoor service life. The preferred choice for roofing, skylight glazing, canopies, pergolas, and facade cladding in all climate zones.

Flame Retardant (FR / UL94 V2)

Classified UL94 V2 for self-extinguishing behaviour. The FR grade meets building code requirements for occupied public spaces, commercial interiors, mass transit vehicles, and industrial environments. Available in clear, bronze, and grey tints. Fire rating certification provided with each shipment.
